  Burros is a gem located in a strip mall just east of 35 in the Georgetown Avenue Commercial section of Round Rock.
  
  Food: The shrimp enchiladas are delicious - two shrimp filled tortillas covered in a light cream sauce with rice and refried beans (in lieu of vegetables) on the side. The shrimp relleno is also stuffed full of perfectly cooked shrimp and cheese. The pepper has a nice light batter coating it, and it's served with rice and beans. The queso is decent, and they have light and crunchy chips.
  
  Service: You're greeted at the door and seated quickly. Servers are friendly and welcoming. Drinks come out quickly, are refilled often, and staff are attentive.
  
  Cost: Two entrees, two teas, and a queso ran us about $30 after tax.
  
  Overall: Forget Chuy's. You won't have to wait in line for a table here, and the food is of better quality, and staff actually have time and energy to be attentive. Parking is plentiful, they have a liquor license if you're keen on margaritas, and they take cash and/or credit.

  First time in today Monday 4/8/19. My wife and I happened to be near by at lunch time.
  
  First the chips were nice and fresh. The salsa for them had an array of flavors with just the right amount of heat.
  
  They have sweet tea and it is just right as well. Not like sugar water, but also not bitter from not enough sweetener.
  
  The service was spot on. Not to much not wondering if you were forgotten about.
  
  The plates we had were fresh and flavorful. This is not one of those restaurants where everything taste the same.
  
  We look forward to trying them out for dinner soon. Not often you can say everything was just right at a visit to a restaurant. But that's just what was provided on our visit today.

  Tried this place for the first time based on Yelp reviews. Had high hopes for a new Tex-Mex restaurant in Round Rock. First comment - the salsa definitely had some kick. I liked it, but it was too hot for my wife and son. It would have been nice if they had a milder version, but they only have one kind. I'll say the portions are great. Our son got the shredded chicken nachos and it was a huge plate. But our mistake was getting them as-is, because he didn't like the jalapeños and onions on them. But that's not a knock on the nachos - just be aware when ordering for kids. My wife and I shared the steak fajitas for two, based on the waitress' recommendation that their fajita steak was "amazing." I would say it was ok. Good flavor but I had a couple pieces that were tough, which is specifically why I don't get steak fajitas at a place that I'm not familiar with. My wife and I were both disappointed. Not that it was terrible, it just didn't meet the expectation of "amazing" by any measure. But the portion size was good. I appreciated the amount of guacamole salad, pico, cheese and sour cream that accompanied the fajitas. I did not eat them, but my wife said the corn tortillas were good.
  
  I feel like I would be doing a disservice to the Yelp Community if I over-hyped this place like I see with a lot of reviews. Maybe we miss-ordered, but my takeaway was that it's a decent Tex-Mex restaurant with friendly staff that offers a nice option from the usual top spots in Round Rock. My opinion/review may be different than a lot of the 4 and 5 star reviews I read, but I think there is a reason why the restaurant was less than half full and no wait at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Just sayin'.

  We came in last night for the first time and were warmly greeted at the entrance. We left to all wash hands and upon returning to our table, we found a small dish of queso that we had not ordered. When the server came by, he welcomed us and said the queso was for our first time in. Such a kind gesture to set the tone of the night!
  
  The service was wonderful and everyone enjoyed their food. Their kids menu is great and includes a drink.
  
  Their red salsa is fantastic and fresh and spicy.
  
  The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 (this was a tough call because I really enjoyed the overall experience) was I said, I love spicy food. Do you have any other salsas that are spicier (because some places do but don't just automatically serve them) and they said the sauce on my besitos was spicy. To me that meant no, we don't. When we left I saw my favorite pale green spicy sauce on the table behind us. That would have made my meal amazing. The second reason was, I didn't love my entree. The shells were hard to remove because the shrimp was very cooked and covered in sauce and cheese. It was not bad at all but not something I'd order again. I loved the sautéed veggies which were my favorite part of the dish.
  
  I really look forward to coming back. I truly foresee an updated 5 star review in my future.

  One of my husbands and I favorite places to go. Usually there's no wait (which is hard to come by). They are getting 4 stars because their service is inconsistent and not always great. Overall good food, great value, good atmosphere. The parking lot could be more spacious, but it's usually not too bad to find somewhere to park.
